Onakaia
Ona is home to 16 inhabitants. It is a legendary sanctuary in bad weather along the rugges coast.The ligthhouse is a beacon for coastal travellers. Today Ona it is a very popular destination with truly traditonal accomodation in the old well-redcorated and colorful fishermens houses. Onakai has a great pub, local food and numerous activities in and near the sea.
Hollingsholmen Farm
Hollingsholmen is located at the very quay where the ferry out to Gosen ( the main part of Aukra) calls. At the farm they produced wonderful mutton and offer riding experiences for both newcomers and experienced comboys and girls. They even have accomodation in the stables.
Ona Havstuer
Ona Havstuer boasts a fantastic location right by the ferry dock with a beautiful view of the sea. Here, you can enjoy the season from May to September/October. We offer apartments, some with kitchens, and hotel rooms. All our accommodations meet modern comfort standards while being furnished in a style that matches the character of the buildings.
Juvik Herring
Herring-fisheries has been the way of life on these outlying islands on the coast. At Juvik you can see and taste the silver og the seas. The family Sporsheim has been running this traditional herring facility since 1928. Today the heritage is carried on by sister Hanne- Cecilie and her brother Jon-Ragnvald. They serve both the tradional herring and new inventions.

Vikenco
At the very tip of Gossen lies one of Norways largest salmon production plants. The trip all the way out is really worth the trip. The fresh salmon produced here is mostly for the US market. Next to the factory at Rindarøy is a monument in the memory of one of the most dramatic and fatal ship accidents here in 1938.
