Episode 7 - A Day of Celebration
In this episode, Arne and Stig are on their way to celebrate the 17th of May amidst the stunning natural beauty of Finse. During winter and late spring, the only means of transportation to these snow-covered peaks is either on skis or via the Bergen Railroad.

Finsehytta is a great starting point for hikes around Finse. It's the ideal spot for taking a break from the busy world outside enjoying the various activities available at the lodge. It is affordable accommodation with great hospitality and atmosphere run by the Norwegian Trekking Association.

The Navvy Museum at Finse
Buer Restaurant is situated at the “entrance gate” to the glacier Folgefonna close to Odda in Hardanger, surrounded by the dramatic and beautiful landscape of Western Norway.
An authentic Nordic restaurant offering the best ingredients from the fjord, the mountains, the forests, and the pastures in an informal and casual setting.
The Bergen Railway
The train between Bergen and Oslo is one of Norways most popular tourist attractions. An impressive engineering achievement when it was opened in 1909. Take it all the way or jump of at Finse, a very special community in the mountain which can only be reached by train.
